While donning the shade after Labor Day was formerly thought to be gauche or passé, Kim Kardashian West, Jennifer Lopez, and Anne Hathaway all prove that the rules no longer apply, so long as winter white is done in a chic and elegant way. The budding technology entrepreneur (that’d be Kardashian West) stepped out in a Céline coat and Jonathan Simkhai fitted, ribbed top but it was her wide-leg trousers that stole the show with their sublime simplicity and elongating effect. Anne Hathaway eschewed other colors in her Max Mara suit, providing subtle shine with a collar necklace from Marni, while Jennifer Lopez took a similar approach with sailor trousers from Zuhair Murad Couture.
